Cautious Clay is back with his new single Crowned. We've written about him before; he continues to add layers of complexity to his artistic body of work, navigating between the worlds of electronic, indie-electro, and Soul.

This one is a slinky flow about materialism and that sense of needing people, and things, to belong to you. The dark side of a possessive spirit, perhaps. Always with that heavy low-end, and a surprisingly delicate sound and point-of-view, Cautious Clay throws his slow-moving bass-party down with with a nod to risk-takers everywhere.

Cautious Clay continues to build overall momentum with the recent sync of his marquee song "Cold War" in the Season 3 premiere of HBO's Insecure. Crowned is currently featured on our CHILL Angeles playlist.
