Cimo Fränkel is a multi-talented singer, writer, and producer from Amsterdam. With a decade of experience in the music business, he’s already written a score of hits - including the multi-Platinum "Sex," performed by Cheat Codes & Kris Kross Amsterdam, as well as Yellow Claw’s iconic smash "Shotgun," and more recently Hardwell & Snoop Dogg’s "How You Love Me" collaboration with Conor Maynard.

Written together with long-time musical partner Rik Annema, "World Is Waking Up" combines soothing synth textures with a syncopated rhythm and an instinct for intimate vocals hooks. Fränkel draws from his experience working in different genres, taking cues from his greatest idol, the iconic and multi-faceted Michael Jackson. By producing everything himself, Cimo is able to funnel a life's worth of experience into every track - without genre-imposed restrictions, he writes catchy songs that range from commercial pop, to downtempo, and hard-hitting EDM. "World Is Waking Up" showcases the all-in-house diversity of a uniquely multi-talented globe trotter, and puts us all on notice that for Cimo Fränkel, the hits just keep coming.

Cimo's father was a funk musician and raised him on a diet of impromptu studio visits and the DIY ethos of funk culture. Visit his Spotify profile here.
