Multi-instrumentalist, writer, producer, and singer Daniel Blume releases his latest dance-floor smash "Nights Like This" via Positiva Records. After his highly successful production work with dance-music champions Cheat Codes on their US Billboard Dance #1 smash "Who’s Got Your Love" - a song he co-wrote - this 21-year-old from Dublin is set to make a fast-track rise to the top of the charts with his own intoxicating blend of raw energy and sophisticated production.

"Nights Like This" is Blume's debut single for Positiva Records, the first in a series of releases set for 2020. His talent for modern dance styles might seem counterintuitive, given that his classical training began as a child when he earned a place at the world-renowned Yehudi Menuhin School just outside London. There, he studied guitar and piano, his education funded via a scholarship set up by The Rolling Stones. At the age of 15 he won the BBC’s Young Composer of the Year award and a celebrated career in the world of classical music seemed pre-ordained for Daniel - until he heard a song by Martin Garrix. "Animals," a hard-driving burner that presents a surprising mix of loud synthesizers, dynamic drops, and sampled percussion became the song that rewrote Daniel's future: he suddenly understood what was possible. Now he is set for a major global breakthrough as an exceptional producer and a compelling frontman. 2020 has already seen Daniel Blume earmarked by his native RTE 2FM as "One to Watch," while his music has been featured on the new series of Love Island, and confirmed for a string of global festival dates. Accompanied with a visual that combines scenes of driving at night with time-lapse footage of the night sky, "Nights Like This" explores the complicated feelings we can have for our ex-lovers - one moment we are fine, and the next, we are swimming in an ocean of old feelings, triggered by a simple memory or a photo-share on socials.

On nights like this
My judgement slips
And I end up falling back to
The love we stole
