It's a natural rebound song with a smile on its face. Maybe endings aren't so bad after all.

Jacob Jeffries releases his new single Weeds, and with it strikes a pop tone worthy of Tom Petty's own Wildflowers, using a straight pulse and a country-tinged acoustic framework. It's a page from an old notebook, a mid-tempo acoustic pop gem with a simple message of redemption.

Eventually filling out the mix with steel guitar and a massive wall of harmonies, Weeds is an entire journey through self-criticism as a path to rebirth. It's a natural rebound song with a smile on its face. Maybe endings aren't so bad after all.
