Jerry Jacobs is an unapologetic 90s kid with an ear for country-pop hooks and homegrown mojo. Born in Charleston, South Carolina and raised in the modern, post-genre era of falling in love with anything that sounds good, Jacobs uses a wide range of influences to deliver a unique perspective on modern country music.

Jacobs and his band are well known for their high-energy live show, serving up equal helpings of nostalgia and authenticity. His debut album Carolina Tonight hit the iTunes Country Top 15, and Jacobs followed up with a series of fun-loving singles including the tequila-slinging bar anthem Read Between the Limes and fan favorite, Making of a Memory. This is the second of two summer singles in Jacobs musical bull pen, and fans can expect a flood of new music for the rest of the year. Kinda Carolina, the latest from Jerry Jacobs, is a high-energy anthem for the country girl in your life that feels like home.

She's the kind of girl
that talks sweet around her father
but she's got a little salt in her water
when the moon comes out

This song is featured on our Country playlist.
