Later. - with compulsory punctuational closure - is an electro-alternative band from the neighborhood of Pigalle, in Paris, founded in 2019. Previous single "L.Y.E" was released on Kitsuné Records, and "Highway 10," their latest, is out now on Cookie Records.

Each of these 4 young friends brings the convictions of a different musical background to their collective equation: from pop music to house, as well as rock and jazz, Later. combines these different elements with the intent to present a varied patchwork of genre-based inspirations and sonic aesthetics. "Highway 10" takes a moment of attraction and adds a jazz-styled Rhodes piano and an intimate vocal performance, which along with other, subtle elements of deep groove, present a laid-back catharsis of self-determination. A butter-smooth bass line and low-key electric guitar round out the mix. We all want a love connection, but when it starts feeling like hard work, the time has come to think it over.

This song is featured on our Soul playlist.
