It was more than a year ago that we first wrote about Little Brother Eli - a dance-friendly 4-piece electro pop band from Oxford. "Giving You Up," their latest single, combines elements of rock, disco and electronic with hip-hop rhythms.

Vocalist Alex Grew creates an energy all his own with a musical aesthetic that takes inspiration from Jack White, Vulfpeck, and Stevie Wonder. His eclectic sense of lyricism is at times political, sometimes playful, and always memorable. Little Brother Eli spent the last year perfecting their live show with more than 100 performances at clubs and music festivals around Europe. Support from radio shows like BBC Radio 2 and BBC Introducing have cemented Little Brother Eli as one of the UK's hottest new indie bands. "Giving You Up" is an infectious encounter with their undeniable talent for laying down sticky, funk-flavored grooves.

I got an itch that needs a scratch
Right at the back of my head
I think my brain hurts
