Indie-electronic duo Sleeping Lion was formed by roommates Nate Flaks and Noah Longworth McGuire in Boston during the Spring of 2015. As an introduction to their rediscovered 2020 style, "Good" blends an electronic-pop songwriting sensibility with their folk-influenced roots.

Since moving to Los Angeles in 2018, the duo has written and produced for over 100 artists, including Transviolet, Lizzy Land, Phangs, Hailey Knox, Vesperteen, and Salem. Sleeping Lion has also launched an artist-to-artist interview podcast, Talking Lion, where they host in-depth conversations with their rising friends & collaborators about what life in music has been like and where they’re going. "Good" explores the frustrations of modern dating, and the illusion of overwhelming options that comes with a new, online landscape. We are paralyzed with indecision because the simple process of choosing a partner, and of commitment to our own sense of personal preference, is fraught with messaging about what might be better. "Good" represents an exploration of that paradox - that with more choice comes less choosing. An eclectic sense of sound design, coupled with a confessional style of vocal delivery, creates a deeply personal moment of visceral experience, and secures Sleeping Lion's reputation as a pop-duo with the golden touch.
