This new single from French artist VOG might bring memories of Avicii, with the powerful combination of a rich melodic appeal, acoustic guitar, and a deeply dance-inflected and electronic sound. The featured vocals and harmony from Oliver Forest add a nice layer of complexity, and the production is a mix of EDM styles, with a strong pop sensibility: hence, Electro Pop.

The dynamics are beautiful, beginning with a dreamy vocal and a simple acoustic strum, and developing quickly into a slick machine-groove. The theme feels like getting lost in the memory of an old relationship, and that sense of wonder about what could have been.

As a child, Thomas Vogt began playing guitar and then piano, as he continued working with his first Digital Audi Workstation, his first compositions were born from those different universes. This song is featured on our CHILL Angeles playlist.
