Anson Seabra combines a melancholic sense of narrative with an instinct for melody that does not disappoint.

Anson Seabra grew up in Kansas City and got started with music at the young age of 6 years old, playing piano. But it wasn't until he already had a degree in computer science, and a sweet corporate internship, that he realized all at once that music is everything.

Anson had the idea that if he just posted a ton of songs on YouTube then maybe his channel would get noticed, and he could either make some money directly off of YouTube or get the attention of people in the industry. So he quit his job, started writing full-time, and he made it happen; the rest is history. Now he has more than a million monthly listeners on Spotify. This beautifully-delivered exposition of an off-and-on relationship will resonate with anyone who has felt betrayed by their own heart; often, we fall in love with the wrong person, over and over again. With a simple and elegant presence on the acoustic piano, and an effortless lift between head-voice and falsetto, Anson Seabra combines a melancholic sense of narrative with an instinct for melody that does not disappoint.
