Los Angeles songwriter and performer LUXXURY drops a new EP "Set Me Free." With classic elements of a disco jam that include a walking bass-line, melancholic chords, and a simple vocal hook, this infectious and dance-friendly title track evokes the idea of strutting into the distance towards a better future, while we leave our troubles behind.

The "Set Me Free" EP delivers five gratifying grooves with a sense of understated, laid-back cool - mixing funky drum beats, falsetto vocals, and a playful sense of counterpoint between the electric bass, guitar, and keyboard styles. With everything from analog synth to jazz piano and clavinet, LUXXURY revisits the sonic palette of Saturday Night Fever with a heavy nod to modern dream-pop and Nu Disco chart-toppers like Diplo. When he isn't on the road opening for acts like Giorgio Moroder and The Juan MacLean, leading his 4-piece band on late-night TV, or remixing live DJ sets in Mexico City, New York and London, Blake Robin is always busy putting together his next original groove. LUXXURY's sincerity of expression is informed by his raw passion for the craft of disco. Despite a musical instinct that is both eclectic and lighthearted Blake takes his job very seriously, singing as if he were peering into the future from the world we’ve all just recently left behind.
