Omri is an Israeli media artist with a unique outlook on life and a razor-sharp sense of humor. His music combines elements of electronic pop with emotional, unfiltered songwriting and a bit of chaotic creative energy. Latest single "float" was written about the process of leaving your past behind in order to achieve greater things, and to accompany this ethereal pop gem Omri made a music video where he "wears" footage of his old high school band—only to eventually let it go and find meaning somewhere else.

The process of disconnection from all the plans and dreams you had with your friends can be difficult, but also cathartic. Omri's brand of honest reflection and meta comedy has connected with hundreds of thousands of listeners on Spotify and other streaming platforms. Precisely because he's not afraid to discuss his own clashes with depression and mental health, his music feels deeply personal and connected to the universal struggles of modern life: finding meaning in the soulless void of click-bait media and allowing the light of individual inspiration to shine through. "float" explores the very real and painful experience of growing apart from the community that made you, and leaves the listener with a simple message—whatever the future holds in store for us, sometimes the past can only weigh us down.

Tell me I'm the same
Tell me that you miss me
Tell me nothings changed
Tell me you're not busy
