Adds a contemporary twist to the kind of dance-friendly electro pop you might hear from French pop powerhouses like Weekend Affair and Fishbach.

With an energetic sound that mixes retro synthesizers with funk-derived bass lines and a deep, prurient vocal presence multi-lingual pop artist Paprika Kinski is an art school grad from Lille that keeps herself busy making leather harnesses for FKA Twigs and Grimes—but also finds the time to compose dreamy dance tracks. Her first EP "Steady Lover" was released on Her Majesty’s Ship Records / Pias, with some remixes from Mijo and Vox Low, followed by tours of Europe and Mexico.

Her latest EP "Diamond Queen" dropped in 2019, and she's back with a new single called "Lamento." With equal parts synthpop flair and understated come-hither gravitas, Paprika Kinski adds a contemporary twist to the kind of dance-friendly pop you might hear from French electro powerhouses like Weekend Affair and Fishbach. Kinski is a 'badass pussycat...in a heart-shaped box' and we're here for it. Let the music play on.
