René Le Feuvre is a 23 year old pop artist and songwriter from a small country town in Australia. He initially moved away from home at the age of 17 to pursue a career in Australian rules football—and to help make ends meet, started busking on weekends. René immediately flourished in his role as singer and performer, and soon mastered the art of looping made famous by Ed Sheeran. After much support from friends and audience members he decided to audition for The Voice AU in 2018 where he was successfully chosen and mentored by Boy George.

Since then, through his own original music René has connected and resonated with thousands of fans from around the world. His songs have garnered nominations for the Vanda and Young International songwriting competitions, Gold Coast Music Awards, as well as earning a top-3 pick in Nashville’s Rising Song competition. This year Renee is supporting an ambitious release schedule, with a second EP and a tour in the works.

"Grocery Store" tells the story of a young girl who aspires to a life beyond the confines of her small world, as she seeks to write her own story and follow her dreams wherever they may lead. With stylistic contemporaries like Lauv and Ed Sheeran in his sights, René Le Feuvre continues to write and perform songs that are written from the heart. This touching ballad explores the intricacies of creative ambition and serves as a fitting anthem for any young soul who yearns for a life of 'riding down rainbows.'
