RIVVRS encapsulates the quintessence of what it means to have purpose: everyone has a spark, and a choice of whether or not to let it die.

There is the element of a sultry blues crooner here, but a closer comparison would be a kind of modern experimental funk like Jamie Lidell. Also it has that crisp Los Angeles production style; the center-present fuzzy lead vocal and the perfect drums, the guitar notes matching the fills, the barely-audible pads just right where you need them.

I remember saying this about a song by Cary Brothers, it's a similar statement: this is delicious audio fast-food. It goes down easy and leaves you wanting more. With their new single Let It Die, RIVVRS encapsulates the quintessence of what it means to have purpose: everyone has a spark, and a choice of whether or not to let it die.
