"Gasolina" is the latest release from Romanian Global Records artist Sickotoy, in a collaboration with EM44 ('Ema'). The man behind SICKOTOY is Alex Cotoi, one of the finest Romanian producers in the world today.

Besides a long list of other high-profile projects, he is also a Grammy Award winner for "Best Latin, Rock & Urban Alternative Album," which he won through his collaboration with Pitbull, Mohombi and Wisin on "Baddest Girl in Town." Sickotoy's debut track, "Addicted feat. Minelli," ranked #1 in Shazam Romania. His subsequent releases have continued to resonate with a broad audience across Europe, with radio spins in Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Kosovo, Lithuania, Russia, and Slovenia. He has worked with international stars like Roxen, Ilkay Sencan, INNA, and TAG, bringing an extensive background in both music and programming to his hit-making ability.

Ema (EM44) has been a singer for most of her life - singing at first for her family before writing poetry and prose in high school, and eventually translating her personal art into music. As a songwriter, she has worked with artists such as Silent Strike, Deliric, BAB, and Armies. After moving to Bucharest to pursue her growing career in music, she wrote music for the Romanian and German language television drama "Hackerville," which is set to air on HBO Europe and German TNT Serie channel. "Gasolina" builds on the success of her release "Fun" from earlier this year, and showcases her stunning vocal presence, in addition to what is a unique and calculating style of songwriting. This summery electronic dance track combines Sickotoy's signature beats with a melodic hook in Spanish from EM44 and some heavy-hitting bass synth, to deliver a standout track that feels both eclectic and hypnotizing.
