I like a good 4/4 beat. It brings me back to the days of Carole King and Motown hits all over the radio. I remember Fitz & The Tantrums did really well with a throwback sound like this. The production is exactly right, the melody lifts you up, and the groove delivers.

The Soul Company make their music in Sweden, but clearly they left their heart in Detroit, circa 1966. The na-na-nas, the funky horns, and the Farfisa are all there to remind you.
