SWMRS have been quietly making albums and finding new fans with their high-energy indie-rock for the better part of a decade. The drummer is Joey Armstrong, son of Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong, so the industry ties are strong, but hard work and commitment to the craft of songwriting are a major factor here.

On the 4th collective effort from this group of Berkeley punks with something to prove, and the 2nd from Warner Music Group label Fueled by Ramen, we get Berkeley’s On Fire: a brash and snappy document about life in the fast lane as a young somebody on the west coast.
