Canadian indie band Allswell returns to the spotlight with their new album, simply entitled "Be." Lead single "You Call Me" is a gorgeous showcase of their abilities to create modern, folk-inspired melodies that are uplifting, warm, and deeply resonant. Allswell has focused their attention on providing an antidote to the division, hate, and frantic energy of the current day by creating music that offers space for recovery and inner peace.

With a beautifully layered vocal performance, an organic and roots-styled backing band, as well as an arrangement for strings and a delicious bit of lap-steel, "You Call Me" leverages a classically uplifting celebration of personal spirituality into an anthem for self-love. Allswell is Danielle McTaggart, Drew McTaggart & Scott McTaggart. Based in Vancouver, BC, they formed in early 2019. Their music is often categorized as Christian, but this gorgeous song transcends the worship genre with magnificent elements of chamber pop and vocal harmonies that might remind you of Ocie Elliott.

We designed the album to be listened to in its entirety, so take 40 minutes, find a good pair of headphones or sit in front of a good set of speakers, and soak in the 11 song listening experience. — Allswell
