Simmers with a slow sense of purpose, finding salvation in a natural minor, and the resonant wood of the machine itself.
Krister Axel - Jan 3, 2019

Songs don’t have to be long to have meaning. This is a short, brooding, solo-instrumental piece, that takes full advantage of the vast dynamic range of an acoustic piano.

The long note sustain, the finger noise, the sound of the damper pedal, are all essential elements to this ambient by-product of a marriage between technique and patience. It is a very human performance, perfectly matched to the introspective heart of the implied harmony. It simmers with a slow sense of purpose, finding salvation in a natural minor, and the resonant wood of the machine itself.
