It feels a bit like bouncing around your rich in-law's house with a glass full of expensive vodka.
Krister Axel - Aug 28, 2018

This is a great example of what can be done with a small budget and a creative mind: the omelet-in-slow-motion montage is stunning, oddly cool, and the trumpet adds a very appropriate counterpoint. The sense of domestic purpose and even more, the sense that this is habit, a natural state, makes it feel like the tao of egg: half cooking show, and half den-father vacation footage.

The song has a smooth and steady sound to it, the drums offer balance with an alternating feel between heavy pulse and triplet fills. The mix of guitar, washy vocals, and bubbly synth is just right. It feels a bit like bouncing around your rich in-law's house with a glass full of expensive vodka.
