We've written about BEAU DIAKO a few times now (here and here). Born Beau Diakowicz, he was brought up in Fareham, Hampshire. As luck would have it, a broken leg put an end to his love of soccer, but as a result of that setback to his athletic career he was inspired to pick up the acoustic guitar. He took to it immediately, covering songs from Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, The Smiths and Sufjan Stevens among many others as his natural talent quickly emerged.

After joining forces with major talents Bas and Etta Bond on his latest track "Fretless," Beau Diako gets the new year off to a bang as he shares a brand new single featuring Tobi Tunis. The title track to his eagerly anticipated debut album, "Nylon" delivers a soothing blend of Diako's signature sonic touches, combining elements of ethereal soul with hints of tropical jazz fusion. Tobi Tunis drops a silky vocal over the top and a hypnotic masterpiece is born.

It’s always an honour and pleasure to team up with my talented friend Tobi Tunis. He has the most amazing smooth voice and always writes the most beautiful melodies that I could never get tired of hearing. — Beau Diako
