Dance Yourself Clean is an electronic music duo that got started in Seattle in the year 2013. As prolific indie electronic hit-makers they are back with another smash in collaboration with young producer and singer OLSO out of Salt Lake City, Utah. "On Hold" adds layers of R&B and dance-floor energy to their signature production chops and alternative beats. The result is an infectious groove that splits the difference between indie pop, club funk, and a lovestruck party anthem.
With ongoing high-profile residencies in LA (Teragram Ballroom), NYC (Bowery Ballroom), Seattle (Chop Suey) and PDX (Holocene), Dance Yourself Clean's star is definitely on the rise. After moving to Los Angeles to dig in with producing for other artists and create their own record label (Lights & Music Collective), "DYC" decided to turn their party into a music project. Their songs are rhythmic, infectious, and as self-explanatory as the band name—if this music doesn't make you move, you're either dead or doing it wrong.
