Honey is a moving ode to the reverb of years past, using elements both archaic and refreshed to paint a sad form on the canvas of our collective mind.

With a guitar sound from the Police and the voice of Sara Bareilles, Danielle Deckard makes some sense of it all on her new single Honey. The final days of a breakup are hard to process. In her lyrics she seems to give in but not give up; perhaps there is some beauty inside the chaos of conflict.

It makes for a catchy hook, as Deckard asks a question about the quality of solitude. The truth is there are demons everywhere you look. Maybe all we can do is sing to them.
