An endearing dose of spiritual healing centered around the beauty of stillness itself.

With an acoustic guitar front-and-center and a breathy vocal that might remind you of Bon Iver, or Blind Pilot, the songwriting here is superb. The coffeeshop-style intro quickly segues into a rich palate of atmospheric flourishes, surprising dynamics, and high band-energy.

The video is a pale watery backdrop that proceeds to end in fire, and absolution. Everywhere, the mark of lyrical exhilaration, mitigated by the recent pain of a breakup. The result is a séance dedicated to the rebirth of self, beginning with the concept of acceptance.

“You towered over the man I’ve been
as I got lost in my shaking hands
all I am is all I know
and every stitch was so poorly sewn ”— Fern Dells

All I Am, the latest single from Fern Dells, is an endearing dose of spiritual healing centered around the beauty of stillness itself.

Fern Dells is based in New York, NY. This song is featured on our Roots Collection playlist.
