This is a gorgeous machine vocal; it splits the difference between the vocoder sound and something more vulnerable. With the addition of that deep, delicious kick drum, we get some big drops and breaks, the hallmark of electronic music.

Beyond the stylistic references from the rhythm section, the true centerpiece here is the harmonic embellishment of the melody around some nice transformations. The minimal aesthetic here works well with the delicately passionate vocal delivery, and it just leaves you wanting more.

Finbongo and Breakeven (from Oslo) team up with singer Passé, on this retro-futuristic experimental pop track which is featured on our Groovy Summer playlist.
