Tell Me No is an easygoing, open-ended attempt at bridging the communication gap between two would-be lovers.

It’s a smooth purr of a lead vocal, coupled with a bouncy live drum kit and some sparkling arpeggiated intervals on guitar. The rock vibe is straight ahead, finding a balance between pop-friendly falsetto vocalizations and a deeper, more booming chest voice.

This whole album having been written in a literal earthship, you can hear the juxtaposition between the desert flats of New Mexico, the isolation, and the sense of comfort. Adding in the energetic production style and the slightest hint of a synth-heavy soundscape, Grayson Erhard creates a fun play off of the alien obsession in his homeland of The Valley in Colorado.

Tell Me No is an easygoing, open-ended attempt at bridging the communication gap between two would-be lovers using the language of rock and roll.
