Lena Minder left her hometown of Zurich, Switzerland in 2017 to discover a new life in Berlin. Her latest track "Nightbirds" is the longest song she's ever written, crafting a nostalgic and folk-inspired journey through the places in her mind that bring comfort and peace. A steady pattern on the acoustic guitar serves as the backdrop for waves of atmospheric vocal harmony and other subtle accompaniments.

Under the artist name of "Liv Summer," Lena has released two EP’s, a self-titled debut from 2015, and a follow-up EP entitled "Over Land and Sea" from 2019. Now reinvented as herself, "Nightbirds" inspires the listener to look back on past times and celebrate the fleeting connection between vulnerability, recollection, and fulfillment. This soothing track doubles as both a gorgeous lullaby and an anthem to self-preservation. As we endure, we find beauty in the simplest of places. Lena's captivating voice has never sounded better, and her brand of 'nostalgic pop' is perfect for fans of Adrianne Lenker.

Lena teamed up with Cameron Laing at “The Famous Gold Watch Studios” in Berlin for this recording.
