What a falsetto. This whole song feels like a dream. The chord structure is plain and effective, simply as a carriage and procession to follow this voice of light. These kinds of lifts give hints of Joni Mitchell but the lyrics are a little more on the personal girl-meets-boy side, which is only to be expected.

This young woman is still a teenager. I think the entire world can look forward to her voice continuing to grow vulnerable and her life experiences continuing to inform her lyrical deliberation. She is a dream-pop songstress and a formidable lyricist with a clear and haunted point of view. This song could live on the melody alone.
