NYC-based brothers Abner and Harper James have a talent for minimalist pop production built from acoustic instruments and electronic sounds. With a breathy vocal presence and an ear for intimate storytelling, "The Night Sky" is the title track from their newly released EP.

Some people look up at the night sky and see destiny written in the stars. Others look up and see a vast expanse of limitless possibilities. This upbeat, dreamy track is about seeing all of those things in the face of the person you're falling in love with, and how feelings of fate don't always align with the choices we make. Yet, somehow life moves on and we are often surprised by the power of intimate connection and the resiliency of a love that was meant to be. With a signature sound that they call '808s and telecasters' these two brothers have a strong hold on the kind of music they want to make. Their sound is exhilarating and somehow familiar, as they tap into a sense of poetic intimacy that mirrors the universe itself.

You said don't look back, just fall into it slowly
Count the stars whenever you are lonely
But I could see a lifetime when I look in your eyes
Oh, your face, it was the night sky
Had my hand in the palm of your hand
You said we had the same lifeline
And as you traced it, you said face it
We're in this for a lifetime
