Melbourne-based indie rocker Nat Vazer offers up nostalgic new number "For a Moment" from her forthcoming debut album "Is This Offensive And Loud?," with a music video that explores the blurry-eyed fantasy of infatuation and includes shower scenes inspired by Ferris Bueller and 90s shampoo ads. This lighthearted love song draws from the same folk-inspired influences of someone like Phoebe Bridgers, but also feels raw and unforced in the vein of fellow Melbourne scene-maker Courtney Barnett.

Grounded in retrospect yet lofty with nostalgia, "For a Moment" presents an intimate glimpse into Vazer’s mind and showcases an ability to craft beautiful indie pop from the details of her own life in a fresh and self-evident way. The chorus for this rock-fueled toe-tapper features stacks of vocal harmony, saturated reverb, and a sense of the inherent danger involved with allowing oneself to dream about the affections of someone just out of reach. The music video was shot in isolation with Nat's partner Benjamin Joel, a visual-artist, and captures the track's hazy warmth perfectly. This album release on Hotel Motel Records is set to propel Vazer's music to the forefront of Melbourne’s bustling indie rock scene, as her sassy and rebellious guitar pop is a perfect remedy for the doldrums of self-isolation.

Lying on the floor in the dark
Tell me what your future’s about
Said that you were feeling so high and lonely
And for a moment I was lost in your stare
But the words came back to me again
For a second I was lost in my head
But the words came back to me again
