With a soothing whisper and a dry atmospheric mix, Of The Valley puts a personal moment between two people on display. Finding beauty in unexpected places is always a welcome surprise, much like the use of clarinet in this piece.

With the new single Italy, Of The Valley uses simple folk elements like acoustic guitar and harmonium, along with some orchestral instrumentation, to paint a thick coat of melancholy on the canvas of yesterday. The lyrical voce seems torn between feelings of longing and revulsion. Perhaps we can all find lessons inside an honest retrospective.
