Difficult Days is the vibrant debut single from Glasgow’s most exciting new indie rock band, One Nine. This energetic anthem for making your own luck might be the reminder you needed that every day is a good day to be free.

The drum mix is out in front, tagging the guitar-chop counterpoint and demonstrating a rich sense of collaboration, and of palpable emotional synergy between the rhythm section and the layers of electric guitar. With the bass guitar punching in on those same hits, we feel it our bones; this chorus gives us the boost we need to shake off the negativity that is all around us. Difficult Days is an ideal introduction to the sheer rock prowess of this arresting Scottish duo.

One Nine will be performing at The Garage, Glasgow, on the 3rd of August.
