Paige Shannon was born and raised in Los Angeles and began playing guitar and forging songs at a young age, with her first EP released when she was just 13 years old. She brings her unique life experience into the verdant space between Americana, Country, and Folk, displaying a talent and craftsmanship beyond her years.

Her latest single 'Windmills' is breathtaking in its poignant and wistful retelling of a story very dear to Paige's heart. She fell in love with her boyfriend before meeting him—they shared messages and photos between Minnesota and LA during the pandemic, and this beautiful song explores that combination of wonder and anticipation. With layers of acoustic guitar, banjo, lap steel, and piano, this roots-driven confessional delivers an emotional journey from solitude to blissful union.

You send me photos on your way home
Driving past rolling hills and windmills
And I miss you, but I haven't met you yet
1900 miles away
You make me feel seen through a phone screen
Wishing I could stretch my arms out across the country
