With an uplifting soul vibe that might remind you a little bit of The Spinners, LA-based singer and songwriter Riley Baron drops a new single — complete with a slamming arrangement for orchestra that Baron composed himself. Starting out with a big instrumental hook, Baron pulls us in and we are immediately seduced by his booming baritone vocal and live band feel. A combination of straight-ahead rock grooves, acoustic piano, gorgeous strings, and horn accompaniment really hits that classic Motown vibe.

"Enjoy the Ride" lays down an ode to that magical moment of driving along the coast at sunset, leaving us to indulge in the kind of wistful dreaming that can only happen in the most beautiful of moments. Released by Retrograde, Riley Baron's latest creation encourages us to get past the savage monotony of everyday existence to appreciate what is possible when we focus on the positive.

Under pastel skies
Streams of golden light shine on through
Driving through the hillside
Trying to find some peace of mind
Just gotta leave it all in the dust behind
Cus' it's a cruel world
Trying to see the beauty in it
All these people trying to keep the planet from spinning
Oh, it's simple you're just hanging on too tight
Gotta let it all go and just

Enjoy the ride
Oh, enjoy the ride
