It's a redemption song, waking up alone and finding the strength to put something together from the ashes of yesterday. Maybe we all need to hear this at some point in our lives.

Rob Drabkin has concocted a fuzzy pop brew with a heartbeat on the floor-tom, some Imagine Dragons hand clapping, and a multitude of atmospheric elements that fit together beautifully. I listen and I think of a musical quilt billowing in the frozen air over a pristine snowfall. There are pure pop elements and a nod to Indie bands like Cage the Elephant.

On his latest release "It's A Beautiful Day" Drabkin has teamed up with Dirty Canvas Music and the results are stunning.
