Saintseneca boldly crafts a fresh sound from time-worn elements of acoustic guitar and a voice ahead of the beat, against a backdrop of lo-fi retro-pop and psychedelia.
The video doubles as both a traveling visual narrative and a metaphor for the course of a lifetime: challenge after challenge, with rotating color schemes. The lead vocal has a shiver to it, a certain hijacked vibrato, that blends well with the retro-rock rhythm section. This feels like a classic that somehow only just fell to earth.
