Derby based bedroom-pop artist Sfven shares from personal experience with a disarming and deeply personal new single "love you." There's nothing not to love about this earnest and intimate song that goes right for the heart with a subtle, understated vibe and a gorgeous sense of dynamics.

While spending a few years in Leeds collaborating with friends from college, Sfven signed to 3 Beat Records, and subsequently began work on his debut album from the Scottish Highlands. With a second-hand classical guitar, a bass, a laptop, an upright piano, and an old-school cassette recorder, Sfven dug deep and created "forest avenue," a stunningly creative and exquisite coming-of-age record that tells the story of falling in love with his best friend. As he continues to embrace his emotional side, Sfven delivers engaging and playful electro-pop with a touch of romance and a wide range of sonic embellishments—from retro-styled alt pop to folktronica and everything in between. His music 'evokes the soft-rough sonics of Bon Iver' while reflecting on the evergreen struggle between love and personal safety, with a sound that feels both utterly modern and surprisingly organic.

i cut my hand
making food
we just laugh about it that's what we do
you turn my head
to face the moon
you always say it has a hold on you

no one talks
no we barely move
cause we don't need to say i love you
