With a distinctly wistful and plaintive voice, along with some drums and piano a la The Fray, Si Clancy creates a conversation with himself, to perhaps exorcise a memory from his heart, or just to celebrate the absurdity of love itself. It's a pretty melody, and a simple conceit: what do we have left to us, in the end, when the night is over?

The suggestion here is that we only have our ability to adapt to change, to find the good wherever we happen to be. Do we choose love, or do we choose something else? What'll it be...
