It's a great sense of melody, a busy bass-line chasing after a rhythm, in a swirling mist of synth and pop-bells. It's like half disco party and half murder mystery. At the center is the compelling voice, a little bit throwback-punk and a lot futuristic peacock, with a loud and raucous personality:

“I keep feeling like I’m running
from the police
but they never catch me
always pushing I keep falling
down on my knees
so have mercy on me”— Tanners

There is always the straight attitude to go by, and Tanners has plenty. It's a little bit of honesty and some electronic rock, served up with psych-pop and some bad intentions.

Tanners is a singer-songwriter with a background in music technology based in Brooklyn. This song is featured on our CHILL Angeles playlist.
