With a syncopated intro on the muted electric guitar, we quickly get that deep kick drum to drop a la Imagine Dragons. But with a Jacob Collier chorus, and a post that feels informed by dubstep, we clearly have something that straddles more than a few genres.
The thing I like most about this is the primacy of that 3rd quarter note, that permanent snare hit means you never get lost. Every section has a different feel, a purpose and a hummable melody, and every lyric has a nice twist:

there just ain’t enough

At its core, this is a song about love, and support, and compromise. It’s a welcome message right now.
