The producer trio of Woodvibes is based between several locations in the arctic forest belt that goes from Norway to Russia. As they collaborate together, the tracks are sent back and forth over vast expanses of untouched nature, which contributes to a smooth and unique chillhouse vibe, informed by an organic sense of artistic purity.

The harmony here reflects the forest, the ice, the snow, the mountains, and the fjords - with the occasional sonic contribution from wildlife, or a wolf-cry on the tracks. From the heartbeat kick-drum, to the rhythmic synth pads, and electric piano notes like drops of water, dendrochronology builds methodically into a celebration of sound and earth. "dendrochronology," the latest drop from Woodvibes, delivers a sense of beautiful catharsis, simple melody, and synchronicity hidden in the mellow groove.

Dendrochronology is the art of studying year-rings on timber. Woodvibes are based in the Nordic Forest. This song is featured on our Groovy Summer playlist.
