This one is all about the bass. It's true funk, putting the beat and the melody together, and pushing out a mid-tempo groove that feels like Bubblicious. It's a snappy electronic kit just behind the beat, and a voice just beyond reality where all is falsetto.

Yellow Shoots, with the new single desert rose, inhabits a funky space between the likes of Daft Punk and Bill Withers. It's a really nice place to be.
