I love a fast 6 count; and this voice has the resonance and fruity vibrato of a Starsailor, or a Travis. The lead vocal and the melody are perfect for each other. There's something unctuous yet understated about this vocal delivery.

There is philosophy, a nice turn of phrase, some long and slow mono-synth glissandos; it's a deliberate slow-dance with the absurd. And a toy stage-piano shows up at the end.
