Nina Moss is a 23-year-old musical artist from Brooklyn who connected with her passion for music at an early age. She always found singing and the process of songwriting to be a source of joy and an exciting creative outlet for processing difficult feelings. She wrote "If I Could" in the Idaho country side over the summer, having found a rare moment of peace in a year full of chaos and looming deadlines.

For her upbeat yet intimate style of songwriting, Nina draws on the work of artists like Maggie Rogers, Sylvan Esso, and Lizzie McAlpine, while also enlisting Tiger Darrow and Dezi for help with some of the instrumentation on this track. Perfect for fans of Pop, Folk, and Indietronica crossovers, "If I Could" showcases Nina's versatile vocal abilities while making space for anyone who struggles to make time for themselves as they juggle the contradictions of having both a personal and a professional life.

Sometimes happiness is just about appreciating the moment that we are in. "If I Could" delivers an anthem for that emotional presence that leads us to press pause every once in a while.

I have become so preoccupied with running
I've forgotten where I'm going
My tenacity is running dry
If I could, If I could
If I could
If I could have anything
I would just stay here a while

It's a simple idea, but I’m from New York and often feel caught up in the rat race mentality. I wanted to write something about trying to find that work/life balance, which is something I struggle with. — Nina Moss

After immersing herself in music management/booking in high school and college, Nina became the manager of a prominent recording studio in lower Manhattan. Years of curating shows for local NYC venues eventually drew her back into creating her own sound.
