This exploration of the emptiness left behind when a relationship comes to a close is perfect for anyone with a broken heart who feels like leaving it all on the dance floor.

In another impressive collaboration between producer Steve Kroeger and singer-songwriter Skye Holland, "So Close" features a story about a male vocalist who is lamenting a relationship that is no more. Kroeger is a Victoria, British Columbia-based musician with a string of dance hits that have charted with Billboard and Mediabase; Skye Holland's music career started at the age of 10 when she was selected to join the Japanese teen pop group "HappyNs," and she, too, has had her share of chart-toppers, after moving to Victoria at the age of 12.

Working together, Steve and Skye have been consistently releasing exciting new music for the past 8 years. With every release, they continue to hone their craft as musical hit-makers. Skye’s first collaboration with Steve (We Are United) peaked at #38 on the official Billboard Dance/Mix Show US National Airplay Chart, and their subsequent singles have continued to find an enthusiastic audience in major radio markets like New York, Tokyo, Chicago, Toronto, San Francisco, Montreal, Houston, and Seattle. "So Close" features alternating, distinctive lead vocals from both Steve and Skye, paving the way for a cathartic duet and big, altered-vocal dance hook to close. This exploration of the emptiness left behind when a relationship comes to a close is perfect for anyone with a broken heart who feels like leaving it all on the dance floor.
