The power of the chorus lift is foreshadowed by a mid-tempo punk-shuffle, along with some electric guitar to punctuate the changes. A big vocal harmony and some double-hits on the kick drum keep the energy flowing, while thick power-chords create a seething backdrop for the lead vocal that navigates between whisper and shout with finesse.

In terms of message, we are exploring the meh of our times: why are we content to shrug off opportunity as imposition, and judge the future by worst-case-scenario? When we criticize ourselves too harshly, we destroy the very mechanism that sustains us, which is confidence.

What do we even talk about?
What if I can’t move my mouth
