When you live in a place like I do with cold winters, and verdant summers, and a tourism season that seems to come and go so quickly, the whole concept of Spring really takes on a new meaning. I was so happy to see the snow going away in April, only to find May to be oddly chilly and a little bit disappointing. But here we are in June, and everything does seem to be coming together. The apple and pear trees have already bloomed, the wildflowers are in full swing, and the chickens are happy to be scrounging for bugs again. In two weeks from today, I will be leaving for Vietnam and then Europe, so the next update probably won't be until July. For now: the music is flowing, concert season is upon us, and I'm hearing some fantastic submissions from all around the world.
Here's a breakdown of the new pieces that were written this month, followed by a list of new songs below. As always, thanks for visiting chillfiltr.com, and thank you for supporting independent media.
