RHNO (pronounced like the word 'rhino') is a collaboration between two friends with a studio in Brooklyn, NY who have been making music together for 10 years. We didn't get a lot more info on the artist, just some notes about sound design and synth work. But seriously, my jaw hit the floor. I have a notedly odd musical aesthetic, be that as it may, "Gowithyou" is easily one of my top first listens of all time. It feels visceral, somehow, like some machine of kinetic summoning, lashing beats together with long, fluttering synth lines, psychedelic effects, and some patented production wizardry to sprinkle extra ear candy over the top.

A slightly evasive melody is more than made up for by the sheer madness and inspiration on the instrumental side. "Gowithyou" is a an ambitious and slightly chaotic track from this powerhouse production duo, which is a good example of what I like to call 'pulling a Thelonious Monk'. That is to say, creating a piece of art that is so out of the normal that it somehow gets a pass, and fits right in to the meta. It's like a spontaneous mutation. Bravo.
